WELCOME REV. MICHAEL MAST, Northern Illinois Mission Executive, who leads our worship this morning.
We, the people of Bethel Lutheran Church come together as a family of faith, prayer and service, striving to respond to the call of Jesus to love God and our neighbor, carrying out His commission in Matthew 28:19, “to go into all the world.” By virtue of our baptism, each member is called to share in the work of witnessing to and within our Lord’s Kingdom and His call to bear His name to others.
ADULT BIBLE CLASS starting next week Fred Cutting will lead the class on ABC (Answers Bible Curriculum) using materials from Answers in Genesis. ABC was developed to present the Gospel, beginning in Genesis, to all generations; to train believers to know, obey, and defend God’s Word; and to encourage believers to become conformed to the image of Christ. Join us for coffee, a snack, and class at 9:15am.
GOD’’S WORD IS OUR FOUNDATION – ADULT BIBLE CLASSFred Cutting leads this class on ABC (Answers Bible Curriculum) using materials from Answers in Genesis. The key theme of our lesson today is the authority of God’s word in our lives. Our lesson starts with a video clip of the proof of the accuracy of God’s Word. Then we continue by looking at several passages from scripture that talk about using the Bible as our starting point. At the end of the lesson, we hope you will be able to identify some of the important qualities of God’s Word and analyze how you use God’s Word in your life. Join us for coffee, a snack, and class at 9:15am.
