We, the people of Bethel Lutheran Church come together as a family of faith, prayer and service, striving to respond to the call of Jesus to love God and our neighbor, carrying out His commission in Matthew 28:19, “to go into all the world.” By virtue of our baptism, each member is called to share in the work of witnessing to and within our Lord’s Kingdom and His call to bear His name to others.
ADULT BIBLE CLASS Ron Perkins continues his study of the Book of Acts, which is Luke’s sequel to the Gospel account of the work of Christ. Acts focuses on the work of the Holy Spirit as it worked through the Apostles to carry the Gospel into the world and establish the earliest churches. We pick up in Chapter 13 where the focus is primarily the ministry of Paul. Join us for coffee, a snack, and class at 9:15am.
“THE WISDOM OF SOLOMON” serves as the focus of the Sunday School lessons for today. Solomon, though wise, needed what we and all sinners need: Christ, Wisdom Himself, and the forgiveness He brings. Consider discussing, Tell me an example of Solomon’s wisdom. How has God shown you His wisdom?
We are always welcoming new members to come and visit Bethel.
