Hello Bethel Family and friends!

It is the last month of the year, but wow do we have a lot of events coming up for the whole family.

Dec 3rd & Dec 4th – Gifts and Greens

YOUTH, YOUNG ADULTS, & PARENTS, WE NEED YOUR HELP!

This event is a big fundraiser for our youth program, and it takes many hands. I have placed sign-up sheets on the bulletin board near the Sr. Youth room. Please call, email, or text me if you have any questions. The attire for Friday night is a Bethel white shirt and black pants. We will also pass out Bethel Youth aprons Friday night and shirts on Saturday for you all to wear.

Friday 6 – 8:30pm is designated for Bethel members and their guests. It’s a wonderful night filled with hors d’oeuvres, Christmas baked goods and refreshments served by our youth, wine and beer bar severed by our elders, the Bethel Choir singing all of our favorite Christmas Carols, wreaths fresh from Wisconsin, and over 30 vendors with a wide variety that is sure to help you find that special gift for everyone on your list.

For parents that have been unable to attend on Friday night due to babysitting issues, we now offer FREE childcare available with a Christmas movie, snacks, and vigilant watchful eyes!

Saturday 9 am-3 pm the community and children’s event will be held both in & outdoors. We have over thirty-five vendors, the Bethel ladies crafters, and fresh Wisconsin Greens.

Also, on Saturday, we have a Santa’s Gift-shop for children to buy items for their parents, sibling, family pet, etc., with each item only $1. Each child that goes through the Gift-shop will have their own personal shopper and elf (Bethel Youth) to gift wrap and label each item.

Sunday Mass –Dec 5th 12-4pm

This month the youth are taking a trip to Countryside Mall for this year’s Scavenger Hunt. This event is open to Jr. Sr. youth, college students and parents.

The name of this event was created by our Bethel Youth Council to help stir up curiosity within the youth in the church and help encourage them to participate. From paintball to pool parties, scavenger hunts to rock climbing our 6th-12th graders have an opportunity of experiencing activities with peers of their age to help enforce strong bonds that can last for years and years to come.

Parents please text, call, or email me if you are working to help volunteer at this events, we will spilt into three to four teams and will need an adult chaperone for each team.

CHILDREN’S ADVENT SERVICE

December 19th 8:00am & 10:30am

Join us for a church service full of young voices singing God’s praises, small hands ringing familiar songs, older youth reading from the Holy scripture, and hearts full of Joy proclaiming the birth of a newborn King-Jesus Christ our Savior. It’s a story you have heard many times but presented by the little ones we have both watched and helped grow within our community over the years.

REHEARSALS BEGIN November 28th After Late Service (Pick-up at 12:30 pm)

Dec 19th – Cookie Exchange

We will be holding a youth and family Christmas party and Cookie exchange between early and late service. Please bring a plate of your favorite cookies and enjoy times with others eating cookies, drinking hot cider, making crafts, and telling stories of your favorite Christmas moments present and past.

Dec 26th –  No Sunday School

We will not be holding Sunday school Dec 26th so we can give our teachers and volunteer the day off to enjoy with their family. Thank you to all our volunteers for your hard work, Bethel is very blessed to have every one of you working with our youth.
