We, the people of Bethel Lutheran Church come together as a family of faith, prayer and service, striving to respond to the call of Jesus to love God and our neighbor, carrying out His commission in Matthew 28:19, “to go into all the world.” By virtue of our baptism, each member is called to share in the work of witnessing to and within our Lord’s Kingdom and His call to bear His name to others.

ADULT BIBLE CLASS this morning at 9:15am in the Great Hall. July 1 we focused on the inescapable truth that has been forced upon the secular scientist. Namely, the universe had a beginning, the Universe is finely tuned and life is far too complex to have developed by accident. All three facts point to the requirement for a Creator of extreme intelligence. July 8 we continued this discussion.
Today, to further frustrate secular scientists, due to their assumption that life is not special and is an accident, we will complete the video about some of the requirements for an ‘Earth-like’ planet. After reviewing these requirements, I think you will agree that the chances of another Earth-like planet in our galaxy is less than one in 10,000. And in the entire universe the chances are zero to very few.
Next week we’ll talk about ten significant facts in nature that challenge ‘old earth’ assumptions. July 29 we conclude the class with little known facts like: from 40 degrees east longitude to 190 degrees east longitude there was never any glaciation. (i.e. Berlin to Aleutian Islands) This class along with the two prior week’s point to the prophetic statement by St. Peter in 2 Peter 3:3-4, “First of all you must understand this, that scoffers will come in the last days with scoffing, following their own passions. . .All things have continued as they were from the beginning of creation.”
And that is exactly what the Darwinists have been doing for over 150 years!
SUMMER SUNDAY SCHOOL This summer our Sunday School students will dive into H2Oh!God Keeps His Promises. Each of the weekly Bible stories has water as a central element in the account.
Meets at 09:15am in the youth lounge .
