We, the people of Bethel Lutheran Church come together as a family of faith, prayer and service, striving to respond to the call of Jesus to love God and our neighbor, carrying out His commission in Matthew 28:19, “to go into all the world.” By virtue of our baptism, each member is called to share in the work of witnessing to and within our Lord’s Kingdom and His call to bear His name to others.

ADULT BIBLE CLASS Prof. Maier goes into some detail on Paul’s shipwreck on Malta. Paul predicted the storm from his own experience. But, well into the 4 days in the storm, he also predicted, by Divine Revelation, that all 276 passengers would survive but the ship and cargo would be lost. When Paul arrives in Rome there was a well-established Church dating back to Pentecost. (Acts 2:10) Paul helps to enlarge the Church significantly while there. Prof. Maier presents some interesting speculation on Paul’s Fourth Missionary Journey to Spain based on some secular data via Tacitus. Before his final trip to Rome, Prof. Maier references his later letters to churches in Asia such as Paul’s Epistle to Philemon as possible proof of his return to Asia. On his final trip back to Rome Niro has Paul beheaded southeast of Rome along the Ostian Way. Grab some goodies and a cup of coffee on the way in. Those of us making comments are pretty much amateurs and would appreciate your company and comments. We meet in the Great Hall at 9:15am.
MEET YOUR SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER Everyone is invited to meet our Sunday School teachers on Sunday, August 28 between 9:15-10am. The first day of Sunday School will be September 4!
