We, the people of Bethel Lutheran Church come together as a family of faith, prayer and service, striving to respond to the call of Jesus to love God and our neighbor, carrying out His commission in Matthew 28:19, “to go into all the world.” By virtue of our baptism, each member is called to share in the work of witnessing to and within our Lord’s Kingdom and His call to bear His name to others.

ADULT BIBLE CLASS Join us June 5 as we begin a study based on Dr. Jeremiah Johnston’s Unanswered – Lasting Truth for Trending Questions. Dr. Johnston is the president of the Christian Thinkers Society. We will learn how to answer trending questions with confidence exploring different themes for four sessions. The first question asked is, What about unanswered prayer? We will also examine How do you explain the resurrection of Christ? What about the paranormal and Christians? and How do Christians address the invisible illness – mental health and suicide? Paul Blake leads this study of thought-provoking and timely topics. There will be some video presentations and worksheets in the program. We meet in the Great Hall at 9:15am. Enjoy a cup of coffee and some snacks.
IN OUR SIN, WE ARE LOST from God and doomed to die, but God, in His love, sought and found us and keeps us with Him forever. Today’s Bible story is, “Jesus Seeks the Lost” as recorded by St. Luke. Talk about How does God the Holy Spirit work through the Word and the Sacraments?
